Hello,

I've been in the hobby for as long as I can remember. My first real tank was a 10 gallon metal frame tank with an incandescent light.  The hobby has grown so much in these 40 plus years. 

Throughout my adult life I had tanks ranging from 2 gallon betta breeding set ups to salt water tanks with beautiful exotic fish from the oceans of the world. 

We started up a small breeding operation that grew to over 190 tanks and took up most of the basement.  We have had to scale back in the number of tanks due to some issues with some touchy feet objecting to long hours on the cement.  I am thrilled to say that I can walk again and we are back in the game. 

We will now maintain a smaller amount of tanks but plan on offering a large variety of species as well as continue to breed angelfish, a few apistos and any other species we decide to give a go for the simple challenge and enjoyment. 

Our Business

Our mission is to provide hobbyist with healthy fish.  Our acclimation process ensures they will be healthy when they leave our facility and arrive at your home.  Proper acclimation and treatment is essential in assuring they will thrive for years in your tanks.

Who We Are

We are Bev and Dale Newcomer.  Hobbyist gone mad! 

We were both born in the York area and met 31 years ago.  We married in 1981 after a short engagement and have been together ever since.  This year we celebrated our 30th anniversary.

We have two terrific kids and three beautiful and exhausting grandchildren. 

We share our home with our great dane, Sherman and two spolied rotten pugs, Reuben and Rupert.
